Parking

Arriving by train? The closest station is Museum Station (300 metres or a 3 minute walk) and then Central Station (700 metres or 7 minutes). To walk from Museum Station, simply follow the Castlereagh Street exit signs inside the station, then turn left heading south down Castlereagh Street. At the first intersection (corner of Castlereagh & Goulburn Streets), turn right to come to the SMC main entrance at 66 Goulburn Street.

The City operates 2 car parks – Goulburn Street Car Park (near Central Station) and Kings Cross Car Park – and there are many more private ones around town (see map for locations).

$49 per day: all days

Motorcycles and scooters

$1 per hour to a maximum of $7 per day

Electric vehicle charge points

Any electric vehicle that enters the car park can use the electric charge points. There is no extra charge to access these. On the ground floor, 4 electric charge points are located near the boom gates and are easily identifiable by distinct green signage painted on the floor.

Basement parking $15

Available Monday to Friday with entry from 6am to 9am and exit from 4pm to 7pm.
